Since 2017, the hub and heart of the Happy Roots operation has been Henderson Independent School Greenhouse in Downtown Salisbury.   There we integrate core curriculum and environmental studies with therapeutic gardening, all the while growing plants for our local school and community gardens. In 2018, a mobile classroom unit was removed and six more raised bed gardens were added.

Since 2018 the Henderson students have assisted in gifting thousands of plants to community while developing life skills and experiencing real life entrepreneurship.

 

But above all...Gardening makes us happy!
